Our eight-week Level One Certification program is a one-hour lesson that will build a variety of skills to use in an interpersonal situation. For instance, students will learn how to recognize, manage, and express strong emotions, express their needs in respectful way, and listen actively and empathetically. Additionally, students will practice effective nonverbal and verbal communication strategies through fun and games
What they’ll learn:
Emotional Intelligence and Coping Skills: Students will learn how to recognize, manage, and express strong emotions during various social situations & learn coping skills.
Active Listening: Develop flexibility in relationships, adjusting to various audiences, active listening, and communication with peers, parents, and teachers.
Assertiveness & Leadership: The program will give the students greater confidence and autonomy in their lives.
