About this class

Level 1 is all about a fun introduction to public speaking! We have so much fun at this level because we want your child to love public speaking and feel comfortable talking in front of others. This level is about clarity, delivery, and expression!

What they’ll learn:

Comfort (Weeks 1-3): The first step for any speaker (especially children) is to get them comfortable with the idea of speaking in front of an audience. Using activities like “loud lion voice!” and word/hand association games, our trained coaches bring your young child into a supportive and nurturing space, to prepare them for a future of public speaking.

Confidence (Weeks 4-6): What is a hook? What’s a story? How do we use them in public speaking? Confidence comes out of knowing how to succeed, but knowing that you have the tools to do so. These weeks focus on these skills to build confidence in even the youngest speaker.

Storytelling (Weeks 7-9): Learning about concrete imagery and nouns – and making connections, we build on the confidence of the last few weeks to help your child not just tell a story, but build a tale of their own.
